These 11 students, students of color and trans students have been involved in and associated with the #StopTheViolence campaign. On November 28th 2017 a group of protestors, students from U Michigan and other schools in Michigan gathered at the University of Michigan at a rally, "We Believe In Our Schools," led by Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. The rally was called the Michigan campus Day of Action against Police Violence and the university has taken action against these protesters including banning them from campus.
